If you don’t watch Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, you probably at least know that the ubiquitous shows feature unusually high death tolls.

Artist Nantes Ryka wasn’t satisfied not knowing which of the two gory series has actually been the most deathly. So he created a detailed infographic that shows a clear winner (if killing more characters makes something a winner, that is).

Ryka declares The Walking Dead to have caused 1,216 casualties, while Game of Thrones caused a mere 704.

The infographic catalogues the first five seasons of each show. If it weren’t for the casual murderers of more than 1,000 zombies on The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones would have been crowned most deathly. Read more…

As deliberations over presidential cabinet positions rage on, let’s not forget the very important appointment of a “First Dog.” Nearly every U.S. president has had a pet, and although Donald Trump currently doesn’t have one, he reportedly has a deal in the works.

As reported by the The Washington Post, philanthropist Lois Pope, a longtime friend of Trump, has a Goldendoodle puppy she is convinced Trump will take to the White House. Trump reportedly told Pope, “Barron will want him” over the Thanksgiving holiday, but the decision is not yet final, according to a Trump spokesperson.

In case the Goldendoodle doesn’t get hired, we came up with a few suggestions for the First Pet in Trump’s America. All are adoptable animals from Petfinder and would settle into the Oval Office nicely. Read more…

And the public did not disappoint. The name chosen for the vehicle? Nicole Saltslinger.

Oldham Council shared the winning name with a slow reveal, aided by vehicles Gritney Spears and Gritterbug.

The name Nicole Saltslinger was submitted by 10-year-old Eve, who of course attended the gritter’s unveiling. Under the competition rules, only “children who live in Oldham or attend Oldham Primary School” could enter. Read more…
