One of the most frustrating things about cash is having to fumble at the register, digging through your wallet for coins.

A clever new wallet design promises to handle that for you. Just dump a handful of notes and coins into its larger note compartment, and with a shake, the coins get sorted into a separate coin pouch.

This eliminates that awkward dance most people do at checkout, where you try to drop your coins into a typically small coin compartment, before slipping your notes into another.

The Kin wallet comes from three Singapore designers, and is about to become a reality through Kickstarter. The wallet raised S$274,554 ($191,989) of its humble S$4,000 ($2,797) goal in a month from over 4,000 backers. Read more…

A number of drone videos have captured the construction of the new UFO-style Apple Campus 2, but this latest video is the best look we’ve had yet.

The new video, captured by YouTube user Sexton Videography, shows the Apple structures in their nearly completed form, with most of the walls and solar panels now in place.

From the main circular structure, to the similarly flying saucer-like underground auditorium, to even the massive 20,000 car parking lot, it’s now clear that this solar-powered complex could easily double as a self-sustaining city and/or fortress when the zombie apocalypse arrives.  Read more…

The mostly black and white band is covered in a jungle foliage design and features a dash of color in the form of a stalking leopard. The design, which is the first Apple Watch band from Hermés offering graphics instead of a solid color, is printed on calfskin.  Read more…
