Canadian police officers want to prevent drunk driving with Nickelback

Drunk driving can be difficult to prevent. So difficult, in fact, that police organizations have turned to terrible music as a preventative tactic. 

In a Facebook post from Saturday, the Kensington Police Service of Kensington, Price Edward Island announced an ingenious punishment to discourage drunk driving. Rather than detailing the legal repercussions drunk drivers will face, they’ll have to endure a car ride to jail while Nickelback plays.

To show just how serious they are, the Kensington Police included a photo of the Nickelback tape they intend to play for offenders. Read more…
