If you didn’t already wear yourself (and your wallet) out shopping until dropping over the holiday weekend, Cyber Monday has come to finish the job. 

This year, Thanksgiving Day shoppers filled up more digital carts than ever before, so there’s no reason to think that Cyber Monday 2016 won’t be just as busy. Just be sure to cross your fingers that heavy sale pages don’t get bogged down, protect yourself and your purchases and be sure to only go for the best deals.

Since it’s 2016, Walmart is live-streaming Cyber Monday

Since the borders between online and real life have become completely blurred, and Cyber Monday now carries arguably as much weight as Black Friday, Walmart is kicking up its promotions another notch and going full-on QVC mode with a live-streamed sales extravaganza. 

The live stream, hosted by multiple cheery sales reps touting the retailer’s best deals of the season, has been a trip so far. Viewers are prompted incessantly to type in their feedback, while the hosts are calling to action for purchases at a rate of roughly eight times per minute (estimate).  Read more…
